Our intensive GCSE French Revision course will provide you with the confidence to communicate in a variety context and to achieve the best results in your French exam. We will revise the vocabulary and grammar from the three themes and use past questions from a number of the key exam boards to practice key skills and techniques ahead of the summer examinations. The course will be personalized to focus on those areas in which students feel they need the most support as well as those that commonly cause students difficulty in their examinations.

The specification covers three distinct themes. Students are expected to understand and provide information and opinions about these themes relating to their own experiences and those of other people, including people in countries/communities where French is spoken.

  • Theme 1 – Identity and culture

  • Theme 2 – Local, national, international and global areas of interest

  • Theme 3 – Current and future study and employment

  • Grammar skills

  • Translation techniques

  • Photo cards, role plays and general conversation

  • Variety of listening, reading, speaking and writing activities.

Our objective is to enable students of all abilities to develop their French language skills to their full potential, equipping them with the knowledge to communicate in a variety of contexts with confidence.

Our teachers are highly experienced, qualified British Curriculum GCSE Modern Foreign Language specialists, with an in-depth knowledge of the subject area and an excellent insight into the skills and techniques that the exams require of students to succeed.
